Strictly star Shirley Ballas, 62, found love with Danny Taylor, 50, when they starred together in the pantomime of Jack and the Beanstalk at the end of 2018. Since then, the couple has gone from strength to strength, and even decided to live together during lockdown. In a new interview, Shirley admitted that she is eager for the relationship to move to the next stage, and even revealed that Danny brought an engagement ring for his beau last year. However, he seems reluctant to get down on one knee despite Shirley’s persistent ‘nudges’.She said: ‘We do have a ring in the safe. It was a real palaver, and not a small thing to get that ring together…he says, ‘I’ll do it when I am ready’. ‘I’m always giving him a nudge. But the more you nudge him, the more he takes ten steps back.’READ MORE:Dan Walker queries ‘timing’ of Prince Harry’s new memoir Strictly’s Shirley Ballas longing to marry boyfriend Danny Taylor despite not seeing him ‘in months’ (Image: Instagram Shirley Ballas/Getty) Shirley Ballas and her beau Danny Taylor posed up a storm at the Pride of Britain earlier this week.
