James Corden, 44, has spoken out about struggling with fame after receiving backlash recently and says he is far from the confident persona you see on TV
James Corden has said he isn’t a ‘confident lout drinking lad’ and often finds he struggles with fame.
Speaking out in an interview, the TV star, 44, said that those who meet him expect him to be the same as his character Smithy from Gavin and Stacey – but he is nowhere near as extroverted in real life as people think he is.
He instead said he used to ‘get freaked out’ by fame but has now learned how he should deal with it and now just thanks those who come up to him.
James first found fame in Gavin and Stacey and has now gone on to have a hugely successful career, as well as making it in the US.
