The Gunners are currently top of the Premier League after a flying start to the season, winning nine of their opening 11 matches, giving fans hope of an unlikely title challenge.Tottenham supporters have also seen their team make their best start to a Premier League campaign under Antonio Conte with 23 points from their first 10 matches. However, a dismal display in their 2-1 home defeat to Newcastle United has dampened the mood in north London.Conte has come under fire in recent weeks for his side’s seemingly negative approach, which was apparent once again in their frustrating 1-1 draw with Sporting Lisbon in the Champions League. Meanwhile, a few miles away at the Emirates Stadium, Arteta’s side have exhibited a clear identity to play attacking football. And Liverpool legend Carragher, now a pundit for Sky Sports, thinks some Spurs fans will be looking on in envy as the events unfolding at Arsenal, although he believes that both approaches can work when it comes to winning trophies.READ MORE: Tottenham urged to make Maddison transfer but Conte disapproves Mikel Arteta: The Arsenal head coach has guided his side to the top of the Premier League (Image: Getty Images)’Antonio Conte has a major problem at Tottenham Hotspur. The other is seen as more pragmatic and counterattacking.’Neither side is ‘right’ or ‘better’ in their approach – it remains to be seen whether Arteta or Conte win more trophies at the end of their respective reigns – but Tottenham supporters are looking at their rivals and craving similar edge-of-the-seat football.’Conte has recently complained about the lack of depth in his squad despite spending over £100million this summer on six new signings, but Carragher has urged the club to back the Italian and predicted he would be swamped with offers if he ever leaves the club.DON’T MISSTottenham ‘can afford’ Martinez as replacement for Kane or SonCarragher dubs Liverpool and Man Utd target Silva ‘a superstar’Jamie Carragher left red-faced with late live TV appearance Antonio Conte: The Spurs boss’ contract expires at the end of the season (Image: Getty Images)
