A coroner decided an inquest into the death of Tobias White-Sansom will be necessary, after he died following an incident at a nightclub in Magaluf in July
A coroner in the UK ordered an inquest into the death of a British dad whose heart stopped, after he was allegedly knelt on by police and beaten up by bouncers in Spain.
Tobias White-Sansom, 35, died in hospital on July 31 – five days after the incident at a nightclub on the Magaluf Strip in Majorca.
His family has been calling for an independent inquest ever since, and petitioned for his body to be released for repatriation.
Tobias was finally laid to rest during a private funeral in his home city of Nottingham last weekend, nearly three months after he died.
