Cruise ships nearly always have a buffet restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. While some guests prefer to dine at a ship’s speciality restaurants, the buffet is always popular.A new cruise passenger asked experienced passengers to share their advice for cruise holidays.One guest issued a warning about a common mistake that a lot of travellers make at the ship’s buffet.They said: ‘Don’t over do it at breakfast. Think about baggage handling, etc.’Although it’s not compulsory, guests can tip their room stewards at the end of the holiday to thank them.Some guests also leave little thank you notes or gifts for crew that have made a difference on their holiday.
