Paul has knocked out every professional opponent he’s faced and the 25-year-old has predicted he will keep that record intact against UFC legend Silva
Jake Paul has teased a knockout win over Anderson Silva by customising his fight gloves with the letters “zzz”.
YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul, 25, faces the toughest challenge of his new-found boxing career in UFC legend Silva, who has impressed fans since crossing over to the ring. ‘The Problem Child’ has knocked out every professional opponent he’s faced, but those wins have came against limited competition in fellow YouTuber AnEsonGib, NBA star Nate Robinson and former MMA champions Tyron Woodley and Ben Askren.
The American is aiming to maintain his knockout record against 47-year-old Silva, who was finished in his final UFC outing two years ago. Paul weighed in at a career-low weight of 186.5lb for the fight whilst ‘The Spider’ stepped on the scale slightly lower at 186.1lb.
Moments after weighing in, Paul tested out his custom fight gloves and is clearly confident in his chances to sleep Silva as the letters “zzz” were printed on his right glove. “They don’t like this, the sleepy time [glove],” Paul said while trying on the gloves.
