Big Ben will be among 2,000 timepieces across Parliament to be changed this weekend (Image: UK Parliament/Jessica Taylor/PA Wire)It will be the first time Big Ben will be put back since the scaffolding came down from Elizabeth Tower following a five-year restoration.Commons Speaker Sir Lindsay Hoyle said the change ‘will herald a new beginning’ for the London landmark.He said: ‘While the rest of us are in bed Ian Westworth’s team will be clocking up eight miles changing clocks including Big Ben.’
