HOLLYOAKS bosses have ensured that their hunky actor Owen Warner will not be off screen despite flying out to Australia to take part in I’m A Celeb.
Owen, 23, who has played Romeo Nightingale in the hit Channel 4 soap since 2018, was pictured arriving at Brisbane airport yesterday for the new series of the hit ITV reality show.
But while he’ll be stripping off in the jungle shower, clever bosses at Hollyoaks have done everything they can to maximise his exposure on the Channel 4 soap and won’t be writing out his character.
The Sun Online can also exclusively reveal that Owen will be involved in one of the soap’s biggest storylines of 2023 and looks set to be romantically involved with Jemma Donovan’s character, party girl and social media sensation Rayne.
It was announced earlier this month that former Neighbours actress Jemma, 22, and daughter of Aussie legend Jason, 54, would be joining the soap.
