Prince Harry row erupts as author claims memoir is for ‘revenge’

Prince Harry’s tell-all memoir, Spare, will be released in January, but royal author Tom Bower has claimed the Duke of Sussex is releasing the book for “revenge”. Tom made the allegations during a heated debate about the prince on Thursday’s instalment of Dan Wootton Tonight on GB News. Journalist Nina Myskow hit back at Tom’s claims to defend the Duke ahead of his book’s release. Harry’s memoir will be published on January 10, and it will give his full account of his decision to step down as a senior royal with Meghan Markle and move to America. Tom and Nina, as well as Lady Colin Campbell, debated the highly-anticipated memoir’s release with Dan, but the interview soon turned fiery. Nina was left stunned when Tom claimed Harry had “behaved like a traitor” who he said was “terribly disloyal” to the Royal Family. Nina clapped back at the author, saying: “[Harry] was dumped by the Royal Family.” The debate continued heating up as Tom reminded viewers Princess Diana “never criticised” the late Queen Elizabeth II during her tell-all interview with Martin Bashir in the 1990s. READ MORE: Coronation Street fans ‘work out’ Audrey Roberts revenge plan Prince Harry was the subject of a heated debate on GB News (Image: GB NEWS/GETTY ) The GB News panel clashed over the Prince’s book (Image: GB NEWS) Harry’s memoir is being released in January (Image: GETTY ) Tom Bower slammed Prince Harry for writing a memoir (Image: GB NEWS )”He criticised her upbringing,” Tom claimed. “Nina, are you going to let me finish?”He alleged: “[Harry] said quite explicitly to Oprah Winfrey that he was brought up in a bad way by [King] Charles, but all that Charles was doing was treating him in the same way his mother had treated Charles. “I think he waited for the Queen to die so he could put that whole story into greater context.” Tom also claimed: “This is their revenge, this is what they have been waiting for, and they are going to capitalise on that.” DON’T MISS…Prince Harry’s memoir could be ‘final torching’ of ‘bridges’ with Firm [UPDATE]Will you read Prince Harry’s book?
