Jake Paul and Anderson Silva agreed to the bet at their final press conference (Image: Jake Paul/GETTY)Jake Paul has made a bet with Anderson Silva that will likely ruffle UFC president Dana White’s feathers. Paul told Silva that if he loses on October 29 then he will rematch The Spider in a kickboxing bout. However, if he wins then the pair will join forces to set up a united fighters association to help get UFC fighters better pay and healthcare.”If I win, me and you come together to create a united fighters’ association to help UFC fighters get better pay and better health care,” Paul said during Thursday’s press conference as both men came together and made it official with a handshake.”You become the interim president. We unite to help these fighters once and for all. I think it should be all MMA and all boxing. It should just help all fighters, because that’s truly what needed.”Paul added: “We need all the help we can get. People will need to be selfless and use their platforms to create this and make it an amazing thing that is forever. This is not just a ten-year thing, this is not a couple years, this is something that can stand forever.”Paul has been extremely critical of the way the UFC treats its fighters and has butted heads with White on several occasions. In January, White revealed that the MMA giants had recorded another record year in 2021.MORE BOXING NEWS…Joshua ‘might be thinking about retiring’ after delaying comebackAskren responds to Paul KO conspiracy theories ahead of Silva fightPaul receives brutal call-out from Froch as terms set-out for comeback Jake Paul and Anderson Silva square off on October 29 (Image: GETTY)In response, Paul tweeted: ‘You are one of the most selfish capitalistic motherf**kers that I’ve ever seen. Everybody else needs you, Dana. I’m the only person that doesn’t need you and I don’t give a f**k about you.”But all these people, all your fighters, all of them, they can’t say s**t cause you’ll just bench them. You met your maker, I’m not gonna stop. Welcome to the show, ladies and gentlemen.”The bottom line, Dana, is that you won’t add health care for your fighters because you don’t give a f**k about them and you’re too much of a greedy b***h to pay your minimum fighter more than $12,000 for risking their lives. It’s what a janitor makes. You need to pay them $50,000, Dana. Stop avoiding my points.”
