Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has spoken out after his side’s 3-0 win over Sheriff on Thursday night. The Red Devils went into the game looking to boost their chances of topping their Europa League group. And they did just that, with Diogo Dalot, Marcus Rashford and Cristiano Ronaldo all on target. Manchester United were too strong for Sheriff on Thursday night, with Ten Hag’s side in cruise control as they claimed all three points.Dalot put the Red Devils ahead just before half time, with the Portugal international heading home after a pinpoint cross from Christian Eriksen.United then doubled their lead through Rashford in the 65th minute, with the England star also heading home after a delivery from Luke Shaw.In the closing stages, Ronaldo made the game safe.The Portugal international struck at the second attempt to net his third goal this season – and his first since being reinstated to the team following his sulk against Tottenham last week.All in all, it was a good night for Ten Hag and his side. It was about getting the job done.”On next week’s trip to Real Sociedad, he then added: “We have to go there and score by two goals.’We have to score goals but defend well.
