Una Healy was used to getting the party started with upbeat pop hits as a member of The Saturdays.
But, as a solo star, her songs are the soundtrack to a far more sombre affair, helping families give their loved ones a final send-off, she revealed.
‘I did write two songs that a few people said they have played at funerals, including Angel Like You, on my first album,’ Una told Guilty Pleasures in an exclusive chat.
‘My cousin is a very good singer, and she said it’s one of the most popular requests she gets for funerals.’
She added: ‘I did write it about a lady that my mum worked with, and she died of breast cancer quite young. She inspired it. Her name was Norma.’
