Prince Harry ‘full of resentment’ as expert attacks new book title

Prince Harry’s upcoming book shows he is “still full of resentment”, a Royal Family expert has claimed, who has described the title Spare as “desperately sad”. The much-anticipated memoir will be released on January 10 and will detail with “raw unflinching honesty” his journey from “trauma to healing”, according to publisher Penguin Random House. The publisher said the book will be “full of insight, revelation, self-examination, and hard-won wisdom about the eternal power of love over grief”.The cover shows the Duke of Sussex looking directly into the camera, along with the words “Prince Harry” and “Spare”. The title is a reference to the phrase “the heir and the spare”But royal commentator, journalist and biographer Angela Levin has pointed to a possible meaning behind the title of the upcoming book, while taking a thinly veiled swipe at the Duke of Sussex. She wrote on Twitter: “Spare, the title of Harry’s book is desperately sad. Is that what he still thinks of himself?”After all the therapy, a wife he worships and freedom he longed for, he is still full of resentment and out to get his own back. You can see it in his eyes on the cover.” Prince Harry news: The Duke’s book title has been described as ‘desperately sad’ (Image: YOUTUBE ) Prince Harry news: The Duke of Sussex’s book has come in for criticism (Image: GETTY)In a press release announcing the publication of the book, Penguin Random House said, “for Harry, this is his story at last”.The publisher said: “Spare takes readers immediately back to one of the most searing images of the 20th century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow – and horror.”As Diana, Princess of Wales, was laid to rest, billions wondered what the princes must be thinking and feeling – and how their lives would play out from that point on.
