Putin erupts at ‘neo-colonial’ power seeking ‘absolute dominion’

Vladimir Putin slammed the West for allegedly seeking to “cancel” Russia with their push for homologation under the false flag of democracy. The Russian leader said those who seek to eliminate Russia’s history have a “high opinion of themselves” and will not be remembered for their “neo-colonial” attempt to expand their globalisation model. With reference to Soviet philosopher Alexander Zinoviev, Putin said Western nations had been exploiting their prominent position on the global stage to “revisit some of the rules or even abolish some of them.”Addressing delegates on Thursday, Putin said: “Standardisation, financial, technological monopoly, erasure of all and every difference, this has been the foundation of the Western globalisation model.”Because NATO is neo-colonial, basically, and the task was clear – reinforce absolute dominion of the West over the world’s economy and politics, to put to service of natural, financial, intellectual and human economics capabilities of the whole planet under the guise of the so-called global interdependence.”Let me recall another Russian philosopher, Alexander Zinoviev. More than 20 years ago he said that for Western civilisation to survive at the level it had obtained it would need, ‘all of the planet as its habitat, it would need all the resources of humanity.'”And this is what they laid their claim to, you know it’s all true.”JUST IN: Ukraine LIVE: Putin warns of ‘deadly, dangerous game’ in speech hours after missile launch Putin addressed the Valdai Discussion Club days after conducting nuclear strike drills (Image: SKY NEWS)He continued: “In this system, the West enjoys an inherent and incredible advantage because it came up with the principles and mechanisms of this system.”The principles everyone is talking about, what are these principles? A black hole, no one understands.”But once globalization started to benefit other countries, the West either revisited some of the rules or abolished some of them.”During his speech, Putin also warned Moscow will “never make peace with this kind of West” despite repeated calls for him to cave into calls for negotiations with Ukraine.READ MORE: ‘Are you threatening me?’ Welsh Secretary squares up to anti-Brexit activist BrayHe also insisted Russia has not been and will never be destroyed and “brushed” off the geopolitical map.Putin reiterated Russia would never accept Western countries telling it what to do, and said the longer the West took to realise this, the higher the price would be.The Russian leader accused the West of using economic sanctions and “colour revolutions” against rivals as it could not compete fairly with the rising economic and political might of Asia.Putin said Western countries had “thrown aside the rules” of international affairs in order to maintain their domination and hold down what they saw as “second-class civilisations.”
