A woman is alleged to have attacked the office of New Zealand ‘s Prime Minister with a sword and a smoke bomb.
Police arrested a 57-year-old female after the constituency office of Jacinda Ardern in Auckland was targeted in an apparent arson incident on Thursday morning.
Photographs taken shortly afterwards show a smashed window at the front of the office.
A spokesperson from the police was reported to have said they had received a report of wilful damage at Jacinda’s electoral office at about 8.20am, during which “an object was thrown through a window”.
