Manchester airport’s three terminals have been ranked the worst in the country in a passenger survey.
It was blighted by long queues and staff shortages earlier this year.
Terminal 3, which is served by Ryanair and British Airways, ranked bottom overall with a customer score of just 38 per cent. Terminal 1, which is predominantly used by easyJet, scored 41 per cent and Terminal 2, the new home of Jet2 flights, 47 per cent.
All three terminals scored only one star for queues at security. The chaos at the airport, with thousands of passengers forced to wait hours to have their bags checked, grew significantly at Easter when Covid restrictions eased.
