Conor Benn failed a drugs test ahead of his fight with Chris Eubank Jr and the British Boxing Board of Control have confirmed he has lost his licence
Conor Benn has been stripped of his boxing licence by the British Boxing Board of Control after his failed drugs test.
The Brit had been due to face off against Chris Eubank Jr earlier this month but the fight was postponed after Benn returned a test for banned substance clomifene.
The BBBofC insisted the contest was prohibited from taking place, forcing the plug to be pulled just days before it was due to take place.
He has maintained his innocence and vowed to clear his name but it was confirmed on Wednesday that he had relinquished his license at a hearing last week.
