Mykhaylo Mudryk finally off mark as Chelsea lift spirits with Fulham win

FULHAM 0-2 CHELSEA: Goals from Mykhaylo Mudryk and Armando Broja earned Mauricio Pochettino’s side their second Premier League win of the season at Craven Cottage

Chelsea secured their first away win of the season as a clinical first-half performance earned them a comfortable 2-0 victory over Fulham in the west London derby.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side started brightly at Craven Cottage and took the lead in the 18th minute as Mykhaylo Mudryk scored his first goal for the club since signing from Shakhtar Donetsk in January. Shortly after, Chelsea doubled their lead when Armando Broja pounced on a mistake before diverting the ball home.

The Blues could have put the game to bed as they missed several chances, with Ian Maatsen notably hitting the woodwork in the second-half before Enzo Fernandez saw his shot saved. Sasa Lukic had Fulham’s best chance of the match but he failed to convert as Chelsea sealed a vital three Premier League points.

Here are five talking points from the game.
