Although that was announced several months ago, someone who claims to have got hold of the game early suggests he's been able to Platinum the game within just 30 hours – which has set the internet alight in terms of whether that's acceptable for such an expensive game. Twitter user Chris95 originally posted what seems to be proof of his claims, and while his original posts have since been deleted, screenshots were saved on Reddit. He claims that the story can be beaten in 15 to 18 hours and that the Platinum trophy can be achieved in 28 to 30 hours. In a sense, it doesn't matter whether he's lying or not because, as surprising as the claim may be to some, it's within the time frame that Insomniac has already suggested. As far as we're concerned, the original game was already too long and spin-off Miles Morales managed to tell a much more coherent story within its shorter 7-to-8-hour playtime, while also making it harder to tire of its gameplay in that time.
