Family of girl killed in M53 crash pay tribute to ‘kind and empathetic’ teenager

The family of a teenage girl who died during a school coach crash has paid tribute to her.

Jessica Baker, 15, was killed when the school coach crashed on the M53 on Friday morning. The driver of the coach also died.

In a tribute issued through Merseyside Police, her family said: ‘Jessica was a warm-hearted, wonderful daughter, granddaughter and niece, devoted sister and loyal friend.

‘A talented climber, based at the Boardroom Climbing centre academy where she helped coach younger climbers and competed around the country inspiring others.
