Man Utd boss Erik ten Hag may face dressing room backlash for Crystal Palace loss reaction

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag risked backlash from his dressing room by not holding back his criticism after Saturday’s disastrous 1-0 defeat to Crystal Palace . The Red Devils lost a second successive Premier League game at Old Trafford through Joachim Andersen’s stunning first-half strike. Man Utd must make Ten Hag sack decision after Palace defeat for four reasons Ten Hag is under pressure amid the worst start to a Premier League season in United’s history, losing four of their opening seven fixtures. His situation hasn’t been helped by the ongoing off-field controversy regarding Jadon Sancho, who effectively labelled the Dutchman a liar on social media after his exclusion from last month’s defeat at Arsenal. But Sancho’s disciplinary storm is reportedly only the public aspect of Ten Hag’s growing issues in the dressing room. According to the Manchester Evening News, some United players are growing tired of their boss’ constant criticism. There is allegedly a belief in some corners of the Red Devils dressing room that Ten Hag has favourites in his squad who are immune from a public dressing down. So the 53-year-old’s frank assessment of Saturday’s loss to Palace may not have gone down well among his out-of-sorts squad.
