Charlotte Sena’s bike found by family after abducted girl did one last loop of park alone

Charlotte Sena was last seen riding her bike in Loop A of Moreau Lake State Park in Saratoga County, New York state, at 6.15pm yesterday – she was reported missing at 6.45pm when her bike was found by her traumatised family

Charlotte Sena’s bike was found by her family shortly after she decided to do another loop of the park alone as she wanted to “be that big girl” and prove she could do it by herself, officials involved in the search for the abducted girl have revealed.

The nine-year-old, who police say is at risk of serious harm or death after being snatched, was last seen riding her bike in Loop A of Moreau Lake State Park in Saratoga County in Upstate New York at approximately 6.15pm on Saturday. She had done a couple of loops with some family friends she considers cousins before deciding to go around True Bay by herself.

But since she had not come back yet 15 minutes later, her group went looking for her, New York Governor Kathy Hochul said in a Sunday afternoon news conference. Her bike was then found in the same area at 6.45pm and two minutes later, Charlotte’s mother called 911 to report her missing. The police arrived at the park by 7pm.
