It comes after forecasters revealed some people could feel "very warm" at the start of next month as cold temperatures started to decrease in some parts of England towards the end of this week. The joyful news follows much harsher conditions which saw some areas battered with torrential rain in the northern and western regions from Storm Agnes. According to Netweather forecaster Jo Farrow, some places could experience highs of up to 25C from Sunday, which would make the country hotter than Corfu, Greece. She said earlier this week: "There will be more clouds here but also some warmer air caught up. It could feel quite warm for parts of England on Sunday, possibly very warm in the southeast, around 21 to 25C." Greg Dewhurst, senior operational meteorologist at the Met Office, previously commented: "There are signs that if we get enough sunshine on Monday (details uncertain at this stage) we could see temperatures climb to around 25C in the southeast of England but then fresher air moving in soon after this.
