A 19-year-old has been killed by a suspected drunk driver who claimed she only had one margarita before allegedly blasting through a red light and hitting another car.
Lynlee Pollis, 27, has been charged with intoxication assault with a vehicle and intoxication manslaughter with a vehicle after the fatal accident at around 4.20pm on Sunday in Dallas, Texas. The victim of the tragic crash has been named as Honor Wallace, 19, a much loved sophomore student at Southern Methodist University (SMU). A picture of Honor shows her happily smiling.
Pollis admitted to having a margarita before the crash and also claimed she was on ADHD medication, CBS reported. She has been accused of running a red light and slamming into Ms Wallace and her friend also in the car.
