I chose my winning bid by just looking at the time, which was 2:42pm. Thank you so much to the Jet2holidays team - this is a fantastic competition and I guess it really can be won by anyone." The budget holiday firm launched the competition in 2021 and brought it back in September this year. Where previously just one holiday a week was auctioned off, now Brits after holiday deals have six chances to win one every seven days. Bidding opens daily at one minute past midnight Monday to Friday and closes at midnight that same day, with Saturday auctions open for an extended 48 hours and closing on a Sunday night.
