In contrast, Eghbali's visits are not to deliver speeches, but to 'shake hands' with players and coaching staff and to 'wish individuals well' after games. While the presence of the owners in the dressing room has been questioned by supporters, Pochettino has insisted he is used to such visits having had similar experiences at his previous clubs, insisting owners can 'do whatever they want'.
