A police officer’s mistress spent three days in a mental health facility after the cop allegedly promised to make her “look crazy” and had her involuntarily locked up after wrestling her in a 12 minute arrest.

Ronald K Davis, 37, from Pennsylvania, allegedly got his girlfriend, Michelle Perfanov, sectioned in August, after he convinced colleagues to issue a mental health evaluation. Pennsylvania State Police confirmed Davis had been suspended without pay and is also facing felony strangulation and false imprisonment charges.

The couple were together for several months until they broke up and David allegedly said he would make his mistress “look crazy” when on August 21 the officer, who was off-duty at the time, and another cop, located Perfanov down to a wooded area where she was trying to escape him.

Davis, who claimed he was trying to “help her”, allegedly sat on her, and wrestled her to the ground for over 12 minutes, with the disturbing incident captured on video by Davis’ colleague who had gone to help him arrest her. Despite Perfanov trying to escape, she was taken away to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Schuylkill, where she was held for 72 hours. She was taken to the hospital and held for multiple days before being released.
