The recipes are easy to follow and tasty, when cooking with someone else it’s an absolute breeze
I can cook. It’s something I enjoy doing, I have spent years perfecting my go to recipes and when I go to visit family they often let me know they’ve already got ingredients ready in the kitchen ‘if I fancy making something’.
As a result, I’ve not always seen too much appeal in recipe services, such as HelloFresh or Mindful Chef, where they send out the ingredients and recipes to you. For me, I often make something based on my mood.
I tried out Gousto, which I had used once a few years ago, and had four different recipes show up on my doorstep. I avoid dairy and pork so when I opened up my box I saw there were two vegan recipes and two pescatarian.
You get just enough ingredients to feed two people, a recipe card that also has a Spotify cooking playlist and step by step instructions. It also highlights any additional equipment you may need which I didn’t notice until I headed into a speedbump as I couldn’t find the majority of my nutribullet…
