The couple, who tied the knot in December 2022, met on the set of his current quiz show House of Games in 2020. Although keeping schtum on their engagement initially after Doctor Who actress Ingrid, 46, was seen wearing an emerald ring on her left hand, 52-year-old Richard finally confirmed the 'exciting' news of their upcoming nuptials in May. The TV icon and best-selling author was previously married but split from his first wife in 2007, with whom he shares two children in their twenties, Ruby and Sonny. Talking about their wedding day, which he described as 'the best day of my life', Richard also shared the music he walked down the aisle to. And it was, of course, rap – obviously. Ingrid, meanwhile, opted for a perhaps more traditional tune for her trip down the aisle with The Long and Winding Road by The Beatles.
