 Fans of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins who tuned into Tuesday's opening episode of the new series seemed to enjoy watching MP Matt Hancock's brutal treatment on the show. The disgraced former health secretary, 44, resigned from his cabinet position in 2021 after breaching Covid social distancing rules by kissing a colleague in government offices during lockdown. Since then, he has embarked on a relationship with his former aide and university friend, Gina Coladangelo. He has also hit the reality TV circuit, appearing in I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! last year and now demanding endurance show Who Dares Wins. However, much like the Channel 4 announcer ahead of the programme starting seemingly couldn't wait to get a dig in, viewers found watching Hancock being shouted out and embarrassed on national television quite cathartic. Hancock, who managed to crash out of both challenges in the first episode and was labelled a 'catastrophic failure', provided entertainment to the nation after being 'absolutely roasted' by ex-Special Forces operators Billy Billingham, Jason 'Foxy' Fox, Rudy Reyes and Chris Oliver.
