Kanye West is ‘breaching anti-terror laws’ in Italy with unusual new fashion accessory

Kanye West is reportedly facing a €2,000 fine for excessively covering his face with a mask during his extended holiday in Venice with his new wife Bianca Censori

Kanye West has ruffled the Italian Government’s feathers yet again after he chose to wear a bizarre accessory that sees him “in breach of anti-terror laws.”

The controversial rapper was seen wearing a face mask in public during his extended Italian holiday with his new wife Bianca Censori. As the pair took over Venice, Florence and most recently Milan for Fashion Week, it emerged that Kanye’s face covering could lead to an investigation for “breaching article 533 of Italian law introduced in 1977 to fight domestic terrorism.”

The law – banning the wearing of crash helmets as well as full face coverings – was put into place in 2005 following a spat of Islamic-inspired atrocities. The only exceptions are for religious reasons and a written authority must be obtained by the individual from local authorities.
