Since her arrival on the Cobbles, Beth has had some big storylines, most recently struggling with her feelings for her ex whilst still married to Kirk. As one of the workers at Underworld, she has also been involved in the big dramas of the underwear factory. Speaking about possible future roles, she said: "I'm really interested in the war stuff because my grandad talked about the war all the time. So I'd love to do a 1940s drama. Or something set in the 60s would be amazing. "I would love to do Call The Midwife. And I watched Ten Pound Poms and loved it. A role in something like that would be amazing. I'd love to do something like that. I like my vintage dramas and stuff like that, maybe a 1940s drama, more like war stuff." She revealed she is "waiting to hear" if she would get another contract on the ITV soap in the coming months, with her current one reportedly set to last into the early months of 2024. One character we do know is leaving is Stephen Reid, played by Todd Boyce. His exit was confirmed earlier this month when the cast and crew threw a big leaving bash for him to mark the end of his role on the soap. Speaking out about his potential exit previously, he said: "I don't see anyone else on the horizon in terms of who could be killed, we're not that far ahead so they could surprise me at any time.
