Justin Fields forced off field by Bears teammate during humiliating Chiefs defeat

Chicago Bears wide receiver DJ Moore made the decision to remove Justin Fields off of the field after the young quarterback took a big hit to the head and was visibly affected by it

Chicago Bears wide receiver DJ Moore forced quarterback Justin Fields off the field after he attempted to continue playing despite taking a big hit.

With 14:16 left in the game, the Chiefs were leading by a large margin of 41-3. Fields attempted to run toward the end zone from the three-yard line of Kansas City.

During the play, he was struck in the helmet by linebacker Willie Gay, causing a fumble. Fields’ head also seemed to make forceful contact with the ground when the play ended.

Getting to his feet, Fields attempted to return to the game but looked unsteady, staggering back to the huddle seemingly on auto-pilot. Moore took it upon himself to alert the staff on the field’s sideline to remove Fields from the game to ensure medical professionals could examine him.
