Ekin-Su CülcüloÄlu won last year’s Love Island with on-off boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti, and after enjoying success following their victory, she’s now aiming to win over fans in the US
Love Island’s Ekin-Su CülcüloÄlu has landed a huge reality show gig in a bid to crack America.
The 29-year-old won the ITV2 dating show last year with on-off boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti, and the couple went on to star in their own reality series, Ekin-Su & Davide: Homecomings. She cemented her status as a household name earlier this year, when she signed up for Dancing on Ice, and despite being eliminated in week four, her career has gone from strength to strength after making her debut in the villa.
Now, the Turkish-born star is trying to crack America, and is attempting to win over a new legion of loyal fans by signing up to the US version of The Traitors. According to The Sun, she’s already begun filming the series, alongside big names including Real Housewives Of Miami star Larsa Pippin, former heavyweight champion boxer Deontay Wilder, Bling Empire’s Kevin Kreider, Dancing With The Stars professional Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Real Housewives Of Orange County regular Tamra Judge.
Unlike the UK version of the show, the US version features no members of the public, and is made up of famous faces. Scottish actor Alan Cumming presents the show across the pond, and production is underway at Ardross Castle in the Scottish Highlands – the same venue that hosts the British version, presented by Claudia Winkleman. In a bizarre twist, former House of Commons Speaker John Bercow is also starring in the show. The US version follows the same setup as the UK 0 the celebs will be split into Traitors and Faithfuls, and they will have to lie to the other contestants to win the show and $250,000.
