A study revealed that 70 per cent of dementia suffers go missing at least once as they try go about their day and their diseased brain lets them down. Over one in 10 adults in the US over the age of 65 have dementia

Dementia experts have revealed the four things you should do if you see a patient looking lost or confused in the street.

This comes as it was found a terrifying 70 per cent of people suffering with dementia will go missing at least once. Over one in 10 adults in the US over the age of 65 have dementia.

Although most patients have Alzheimer’s there are other less common types including Frontotemporal dementia which Hollywood star Bruce Willis has been diagnosed with. As the brain slowly destroys the patient’s brain, they can easily get confused or wander off and get lost.
