Hundreds of drivers get payout after being fined by camera in wrong location

NEWS… BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT

Hundreds of drivers charged by a ULEZ camera that was put in the wrong place will be given their money back.

The camera had been wrongly placed just outside the newly expanded Ultra Low Emissions Zone, on the junction of Old Redding and the A409.

The junction separates Watford in Hertfordshire and Stanmore in north London, and the camera was positioned on the Hertfordshire side.

It was installed on August 29, when the controversial scheme was extended to all of Greater London.
