It came after tensions reached boiling point amid pupils likening the school to a "prison" and claimed students were punished for yawning. Now, a student who witnessed the drama unfold has shared their thoughts, as claimed by Cornwall Live. "I'm a year 11 at Camborne school. Today was a lot to say the least," said the anonymous pupil. "Students climbing over gates, running through corridors and running into classrooms and screaming and shouting, not to mention what was happening outside of school." While the shocked pupil said they were not "against" the right to protest, they objected when "it's putting people in danger and gets out of hand". They added: "It really isn't going to make a difference in school. "There's a way of protesting and what happened today really wasn't the way of doing it. "It was quite scary seeing the younger students beside themselves because of how scared they were and for students to feel unsafe to the point they are getting their parents to pick them up just doesn't seem right." But, the anonymous pupil, as claimed by Cornwall Live, admitted they felt the school rules were "very frustrating" and the chaos has "disrupted" students "in the worst way possible".
