The dental expert and business owner often made appearances on television shows including This Morning and 10 Years Younger. Her personal assistant of more than 20 years, Mars Webb, has reportedly shared that the news of the dental expert’s death has come as a shock to those who know her. She revealed Dr Uchenna enjoyed a normal “busy week” in the days leading up to her death last Friday. This included a theatre trip to see West End musical Moulin Rouge, a lunch meeting and attending an industry event. Ms Webb told MailOnline : “There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding her death. She was a happy, healthy and busy person, with no apparent health problems. “Her passing has come as a total shock to everybody – it came totally out of the blue.” She explained that the family are waiting for the coroner’s reports “to find out exactly what happened”. A statement, shared on her official Instagram account reads: “We are heartbroken to announce that Dr Uchenna Okoye sadly passed away after a sudden illness on Friday 15th September 2023. “We know many of you will be devastated and shocked to see this post. We ask for your prayers and some privacy at this difficult time. We will be in touch in the coming days.” Tributes poured in for Dr Uchenna, as former Loose Women star Andrea McLean commented: “This is the saddest news. Please pass on my love and prayers to her family.” Susannah Constantine wrote: “Shocked and heartbroken. Prayers to Uchenna’s family xxx.” “I can’t believe you’ve gone. I’m so sorry for your family, your daughter. RIP my friend,” Myleene Klass typed. Dr Uchenna qualified at Guy’s Hospital in London and was a specialist in cosmetic dentistry. She was also a proud mum to a young daughter, whom she often shared pictures with on her Instagram page.
