Lisa Marie Waldron, 44, and her husband Anthony Waldron have been indicted by a state grand jury in Oswego County, New York, for charges including second-degree murder following the death of Jordan Brooks. The 17-year-old, who had cerebral palsy, died of horrific neglect, having suffered sepsis and malnutrition, at the hands of his mother and stepfather.
Federal prosecutors said the teenager had bed sores over his body, and an autopsy revealed metal implants coming out of his skin. Authorities said he would sit for days in soiled diapers and that in eight months he lost more than half his body weight.
