The Osbournes spoke to Piers Morgan on Wednesday night’s instalment of his TalkTV programme about Ozzy Osbourne ‘s health. Sharon and Ozzy were joined by their daughter Kelly and son Jack on the news programme. During the interview, Ozzy, 74, admitted he had his last surgical procedure on Monday after years of “hell”. Opening up about his health, the rocker explained: ‘I finally had my last procedure two days ago. I can’t believe I’ve come to the end of it. “The main thing is over now, I’m done with the surgery. But it’s been five years of absolute hell for me and my family. Ozzy Osbourne gave a health update (Image: TALKTV) “The family has been so supportive of me. I couldn’t have done it without them. It’s been a really bad scene. I have Parkinson’s, but I never think about it.’ Jack added: ‘That’s the biggest misconception, so many people think what’s happened with dad over the last five years is the result of Parkinson’s but it’s the neck injury and the fall he took in 2019.’ Ozzy explained he broke a bone in his neck during a quad bike accident, but he did not realise the severity of the injury. He said: ‘I carried on working with it, until I had a fall and then it just, everything came undone… I don’t gripe, I get on with it. If you are still moving, you ain’t going to be dead.’ Ozzy addressed years of hell for his family (Image: TALKTV) Sharon said of Ozzy’s health struggles: ‘So many people can relate, who has a partner… It changes your whole life. Suddenly, you are off in another direction and your life changes so drastically. It’s really hard. “Especially in the summers as every summer Ozzy works and goes out and does festivals. For the last five years our life has changed dramatically. On the other hand it’s great I had Ozzy at home for five years. He’s driving me crazy!’ Over the years, Ozzy has battled a series of health conditions after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s back in 2003, although he didn’t make his condition known until 2020. The legendary rock star has also undergone major spinal surgeries in the past after a quad-biking accident that happened two decades ago. After suffering from a fall in 2019, metal rods were dislodged, which were put into his body after the incident. As a result of his health conditions, the 74-year-old has had to cancel a series of performances as he underwent medical treatment. Piers Morgan Uncensored airs on weeknights at 8pm on TalkTV.
