 Donald Trump took a break from campaigning to help deliver pizzas to his supporters. The former president, 77, helped dish out the orders to screaming customers at Kathy's Treehouse Pub and Eatery in Bettendorf, Iowa, US on Wednesday. His hospitality skills appeared to be a huge hit with fans, as Trump was later seen signing the top of one waitress who stuck her tongue out in glee. The crowd were filmed chanting: 'We want Trump.' He hands a box to one woman saying: 'Here you go, here darling,' Another man is heard shouting: 'Who wants pizza from Trump,' before the audience begins to cheer. Trump also gave out high-fives and handshakes to adoring people waiting for their slice. They screamed his name and sang along to Lee Greenwood's 'God Bless the USA'. In April he stopped by a local pizzeria where he offered customers a slice of pizza he had already bitten into. Trump's trip to Iowa was one of the first five planned visits to the state. He addressed Maquoketa and Dubuque as he seeks to win the Republican Party's 2024 presidential nomination. Trump also gave out high-fives and handshakes(Picture: AP) It comes as the Georgia grand jury investigating Trump's efforts to overturn the 2020 election recommended charges against 20 more of the former president's allies. He is facing 13 criminal counts, including felony charges for violating Georgia's racketeering law. Trump turned himself in at Fulton County Jail in Atlanta last week, where his mugshot was taken before being released. He has pleaded not guilty to charges of election interference.
