Site manager Neil reminds his workers that they have to wear hard hats at all times on the site. Ed asks Neil to keep an eye on that issue because health and safety isn't a joke. 'We don't want anyone ending up six feet under,' he says – a remark that turns out to be an accurate prediction of the events that are about to unfold. A shocked worker calls Ed over, asking him to come and look at something. As Ed walks over and looks at what the digger has uncovered, he looks shocked. Stephen has been focused on starting a relationship with Jenny recently (Picture: ITV) This is the moment when Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce)'s crimes start to come to light, as the digger has uncovered a dead body. Everything starts to unravel for Stephen from now on, as it won't be long before news of the gruesome discovery makes its way back to him. And things get even worse when it's confirmed that the body is that of Leo Thompkins (Joe Frost), Stephen's first victim. Craig breaks the news (Picture: ITV) Viewers will remember that Stephen killed Jenny (Sally Ann Matthews)'s partner Leo when he got too close to finding out that Stephen was trying to cheat Audrey (Sue Nicholls) out of her money. A fight between the two men on the factory gantry led to Leo hitting his head and ending up in a bin. Following this murder, Stephen also killed Leo dad Teddy (Grant Burgin). His third victim was businessman Rufus, whom he drowned in a swimming pool after drugging him.
