Youngers Kobbie Mainoo and Amad Diallo are also among those unavailable along with back-up goalkeeper Tom Heaton. It had been hoped Varane and Mount might recover in time for the meeting with the German giants at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday night but the pair were not included in United's travelling squad. Maguire has also not made the journey with the club confirming he is also carrying a knock. United travel with Jonny Evans as their only fit centre-half behind first-team pairing Lisandro Martinez and Victor Lindelof. Hannibal Mejbri, who came off the bench to score against Brighton on Saturday, is also in the travelling squad along with fellow youngsters Dan Gore and Omari Forson making the trip. Wan-Bissaka picked up a knock after coming on for the final five minutes against Brighton. Maguire has not started any of United's opening five games of the Premier League season, coming off the bench late on in the 3-1 defeat to Arsenal. United have collected just six points from their opening five games and shipped six goals in their last two – far from ideal preparation heading to the home of the German champions.
