Travis Hunter isn’t short of confidence with the two-way college football star drawing wide attention while playing for the Colorado Buffaloes – and showed off his self-belief on Saturday
Colorado Buffaloes two-way sensation Travis Hunter taunted State Rams rivals ahead of Saturday’s highly anticipated matchup.
There was a lot of talking going on in the days before kick-off with Rams head coach Jay Norvell taking aim at Coach Prime, Deion Sanders. Buffaloes head coach Sanders’ son, Shedeur, the team’s star quarterback, also got involved, branding Norvell a “fool” for talking smack.
The Buffaloes went into the game heavy favourites, being 2-0, while their Colorado rivals, the State Rams, were winless. And two-way star Hunter, who has impressed playing in the Buffaloes’ offense and defense, let his rivals know before kick-off.
In a tense verbal back-and-forth, Hunter told a CSU player: “Oh you’re so big and bad.”
