A Place In The Sun broadcaster Jonnie Irwin has been seen wearing an oxygen mask as he took to social media to share his frustration over the waiting time for cancer scans
Jonnie Irwin has vented his frustration over waiting times â while wearing an oxygen mask.
The A Place In The Sun presenter is fighting terminal lung cancer after initially being diagnosed with the devastating disease in 2020. Last November, he went public with his diagnosis but has continued to update his fans on his condition.
While Jonnie was initially told that he had six months to live, the broadcaster has defied the odds and still continues to fight the disease but admits he hasn’t told his sons the heartbreaking news. Currently, NHS waiting lists are at an all-time high, with some people being made to wait months for tests.
But the 49-year-old who has never shied away from speaking candidly has expressed his frustration as he’s forced to wait for scans as cancer continues to ravage his body. In view of his 218,000 Instagram followers, the dad-of-three shared a snap of himself wearing an oxygen mask which is helping his symptoms.
