United Airlines passenger sends daughter haunting text as plane falls 28,000ft in 10 minutes

Tato Lovere, a Jersey City artist, was on the American Airlines flight to Rome as part of her birthday celebrations and incident was so scary that she texted her daughter to tell her she loved her

An airline passenger was convinced she was going to die after the plane she was on plummeted a terrifying 28,000 feet.

Tato Lovere, an artist from Jersey City, was on board the United Airlines (UA) Flight 510 from Newark to Rome on Wednesday evening. However, the Boeing 777 never made it to its destination after it was forced to drop almost 30,000 feet in 10 minutes due to a potential issue with cabin pressure – before reversing course.

The 47-year-old was with her boyfriend at the time when the plane started to drop suddenly, which created a sense of panic among everyone. She recalled a ‘sick feeling’ inside her as they started to nosedive as passengers looked around at each other unsure of what was happening.
