Almost four years after his last surprise return – which saw him team up with Becky Lynch to 'lay the SmackDown' on Baron Corbin – The Rock was on fire and wowed the fans like only he can. The night started with old rivals Theory and Pat McAfee trading words before the latter pointed out that they were on 'the People's Show', prompting The Rock's music to hit as the crowd went absolute wild. The Hollywood superstar told the former United States Champion to shut up, throwing his jacket into the crowd and hitting his catchphrase as he shouted: 'Finally, The Rock as come back, to Denver!' Theory's own attempt was met with a chorus of boos, as he quipped: 'Finally… the ignorant people get to see The Rock and Austin back in the ring again one last time. Only this time, it's not boring old Stone Cold, it's a real Austin.'
