Australian rock band The Screaming Jets bassist Paul Woseen has died aged 56 as his bandmates shared a tribute to their ‘brother in rock’ following the sad news
Tributes have been paid to the Screaming Jets bassist Paul Woseen, who has died at the age of 56 leaving his bandmate “shattered”.
The group shared an emotional tribute to their “brother in rock”, who founded the Australian band got together back in 1989 as fans were left devastated by the announcement. The band described him as a brilliant and shining light in their lives and say their hearts go out to his family following the news which broke in his home country overnight. They say they are heartbroken to have lost the man often described as the “backbone” of the five-piece.
The cause of the late rocker’s death has not yet be shared. In a statement, The Screaming Jets said: “It is with broken hearts that we tell you our beloved brother in rock Paul Woseen has passed away today.
“We are shattered, dealing with the loss of Paully. He was a brilliant, shining light in all our lives. Our hearts are with Paully’s family, and we ask that you respect our need for privacy at this time.”
