Russell Brand LIVE: Denies allegations ahead of Channel 4 Dispatches

Comedian Russell Brand shared a video on his YouTube page to deny ‘serious’ and ‘criminal’ allegations put to him in a letter and an email ahead of Channel 4’s Dispatches documentary.

Following Russell Brand’s denial of ‘criminal allegations’, he is set to perform a live comedy gig at Wembley Park Theatre in London tonight.

A description of the show, called Bipolarisation, reads: “Rules and rule breaking! Democracy and freedom! We reach conclusions from mass confusion by polling the live audience. We want to hear YOUR opinion. After amassing a movement of 25 million people across his digital channels, the Community festival and the live show Stay Free; the cultural and political commentator and award-winning British comedian is back on stage.”

Doors are set to open at 5.30pm while the show will kick off at 7pm and last for an hour and 50 minutes.

The gig comes just hours before Chanel 4 is set to air a Dispatches documentary, which is understood to highlight bad behaviour by an A-list household name. The contents of the Dispatches, which will discuss a number of celebrities in the industry, is said to be potentially hugely damaging.
