Americans say Britain is the best country in the world. It’s time Britons agreed with us

The one thing wrong with you guys is you won’t toot your own horn

Despite the fact that we are currently governed by America’s Anti-British Biden Administration, a new poll by US News & World Report reveals that Americans believe overwhelmingly in British exceptionalism: rating the UK the “Best Country in the World.” Over to you now, British friends. It’s high time you and your leaders re-assert your exceptionalism and robustly champion your culture instead of deprecating it.

American admiration should be a clarion call to Brits, leading them to elect more politicians who unapologetically uphold the values and virtues that made Britain great and gave us Americans our noble inheritance of freedom, now under siege by progressives on both sides of the Atlantic.

It’s past time for the Tories, who have squandered Boris’ 80-seat majority, to demonstrate courage and uphold British values, rather than succumbing to ULEZ, Net Zero, and the trans movement. In order to match up to our American image of Britons and Britishness the UK must champion the core issues important to the public: economic growth, cost of living reduction, NHS reform, patriotism and celebration of British culture.

As the world evolves, it is critical for Britain to reaffirm its identity and purpose on the global stage. Americans, in ranking the UK so highly, recognize the potential and resilience inherent in the British spirit. Some distinguished British voices, most notably Suella Braverman and Ben Habib, have emerged as superb defenders of these virtues.
